In this uproarious comedy, two English Shakespearean actors, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing ì Scenes from Shakespeareî on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish county of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, Pa. is about to die and leave her fortune to her long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as the nephews and get the cash. However, when they arrive they find out the relatives are not nephews, but nieces! Romantic entanglements abound and hilarity ensues.

Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. Heís a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer and sheís a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. Their new apartment is her most recent find-too expensive with bad plumbing and in need of a paint job. After a six day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit From Corieís loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco, where everything that can go wrong, does. Paul just doesnít understand Corie, as she sees it. Heís to staid, too boring and she just wants him to be a little more spontaneous, runningî barefoot in the parkî would be a start.
