The Paper Moon Puppet Theatre is dedicated not only to marionettes but to other forms of puppetry as well.   We have been  housed at the First Avenue Playhouse for over 10 years.We maintain a permanent staff of five people who are experienced in all aspects of productions and performances for the puppet theatre.

James Racioppi(Artistic and Stage Director for Paper Moon) has been creating puppets and scenery   and performing  with puppets for over 30 years.  His work has been featured on The Captain Kangaroo show on CBS, in feature films, and on the Off-Broadway stage.  He  designed  puppets for and performed in "Kumquats" with Wayland Flowers and Madame at the Village Gate,  A Fine Arts major at Cooper Union, Jim has worked in all media including animated films and illustration.

Joe Bagnole  (Executive Producer for Paper Moon)   has  been producing shows at the First Avenue Playhouse for over l5 years.  First Avenue Playhouse is the location and home to Paper Moon Puppets and is in it's own right a successful theatre venture.   Joe is also the link between  Paper Moon and First Avenue Playhouse , being chief daddy, wet nurse and peacemaker, and brings a considerable knowledge of theatre   to Paper Moon
