The Show Format
Doors open at 2:00 p.m. for the public
Saturday performance. The audience is
greeted by the puppeteers who seat the children in front of the puppet stage
while adults are seated in chairs around the perimeter of the theatre. We
begin pre-show activities at that time. The puppeteers walk through the
audience with selected our
marionettes engaging the children in verbal and visual
interplay .
After about twenty minutes the stage curtain
opens and the performance of the current show begins.
At the conclusion of the performance
the curtain re-opens and the puppeteers invite the
audience up to the front of the stage to see behind the scenes, ask
questions about the show and witness a demonstration of some
of the marionettes from the show.
Scheduled birthday parties begin when the
rest of the audience leaves the theatre.
Private birthday parties which are scheduled
on Saturdays begin at 11:00 a.m.
