IN January 2001 Acting/Production Workshops for Ages 9-15
So, you want to act! Don't just sit there,
come and join the spotlight! First Avenue Playhouse with instructor, Kati
Beddow Brower, is offering acting workshops with dates to be announced, from 4:30 pm
to 6:00 pm Session 1 A survey of acting styles and techniques.
Along with traditional script work, students will construct a mask to help them find
"character". The use of makeup will be incorporated as part of character study. Through drama and improv play, students learn
the importance of cooperation, communication, concentration, and the importance of an
actor's tools. Class will bring students through the rehearsal process to a production of
a small review. Performance is the last day of class. Session 1- Tuesdays, (ages 9-15)
$120.00 Session 2 will begin with Dates to be
announced. Kati Beddow Brower has many years of
experience in the theater. She has been teaching, coaching, directing, writing and
performing throughout Monmouth, Middlesex, Mercer and Ocean Counties. Her vocal talents are displayed on a CD
with friend, Jesse Cohen and his Backyard Orchestra. Together they have been performing
concerts in New York. Classes will be held at First Avenue
Playhouse 123 First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, NJ. For more information, call JOE at the First

class. Planning a Party? First Avenue Playhouse has seating for
